After working in the litigation and arbitration department of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York and Paris, François Berbinau became a partner at BFPL Avocats.

He intervenes on behalf of French and foreign clients (industrial groups, agro-businesses, fashion companies, financial institutions and private funds, consulting firms), whom he assists in negotiations and represents before the courts and arbitral tribunals in disputes that fall within the scope of corporate law (wrongful termination of negotiations, price adjustments and earn out, sellers’ reps and warrantees, conflicts between shareholders and/or directors…), contract law and unfair competition, and white collar crime (embezzlement, breach of trust, forgery and use of false instruments, fraud…).

In addition, François Berbinau has extensive experience in the settlement of individual and collective labor claims, including in international settings. He provides legal advice to employers but also senior executives and managers during negotiations on the signature or termination of employment agreements and/or corporate mandates, and represents them before the courts and arbitral tribunals.

Arnault Buisson-Fizellier heads the Industrial Risks and Insurance department at BFPL Avocats, which he co-founded in 2000.  He also provides legal advice in Criminal law where charges are filed in relation with the operation of industrial sites.

He represents and defends the interests of industrial groups, insurance companies, and real estate developers. He works on a daily basis with highly specialized technical teams in the relevant fields of intervention (fire/explosion, bacteriology, pollution/environment, damage assessment, construction).

90% of his time is dedicated to providing legal advice and representing plaintiffs: the development of an overall strategy when seeking legal remedies against multiple defendants is thus often a determinant asset.

The business directory “Décideurs” (Group Leaders League) rates him as “Excellent” in the categories “Disasters and Industrial Risk” and “Commercial Law”.
