After working in the litigation and arbitration department of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York and Paris, François Berbinau became a partner at BFPL Avocats.

He intervenes on behalf of French and foreign clients (industrial groups, agro-businesses, fashion companies, financial institutions and private funds, consulting firms), whom he assists in negotiations and represents before the courts and arbitral tribunals in disputes that fall within the scope of corporate law (wrongful termination of negotiations, price adjustments and earn out, sellers’ reps and warrantees, conflicts between shareholders and/or directors…), contract law and unfair competition, and white collar crime (embezzlement, breach of trust, forgery and use of false instruments, fraud…).

In addition, François Berbinau has extensive experience in the settlement of individual and collective labor claims, including in international settings. He provides legal advice to employers but also senior executives and managers during negotiations on the signature or termination of employment agreements and/or corporate mandates, and represents them before the courts and arbitral tribunals.
